Marcos Highway Road To Baguio City This Summer 2022

 Welcome, Skywatchers!

These are the scenes I took shots of on our way to Baguio City this past weekend. We passed through Marcos Highway (now known as Aspiras-Palispis Highway) and took a bus ride from Pangasinan to Baguio City.

The wide shot of the mountains
Took a photo of the foggy road

Had to take all these photos from inside the bus, with my bunch of flowers :)

The bridge right after passing the tunnel. Seeing this means, the excitement that Baguio is just a few minutes away.

The good news at the moment is that Baguio City is on Alert Level 1 and welcomes tourists from the Philippines and abroad! For tourists abroad, the travel requirement is they must be fully vaccinated. For local tourists, fully-vaccinated travelers coming from areas under Alert Levels 1 and 2 may visit Baguio without swab test. (I was able to visit Baguio this time without being asked of my vaccination card or anything. Even young children are allowed to go, I think, as long as they are accompanied by a fully-vaccinated companion.)  Please double check with the Baguio VISITA website for any updates, and register with them before travelling. Keep safe and enjoy!

After the exhilarating trip to Baguio, we were checked in at Cedar Peak Condominium which is thankfully just a few minutes walk to the major tourist places along Session Road, Baguio City

Enjoy your journeys - fog pictures can be so pretty, in their own way, and one can never have too many flowers. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

Thanks for visiting back, Mascha! Germany indeed has foggy weather few and far between, and so much colder than here in Baguio. For me though, I often think of Germany when I visit the mountains here in Baguio

Thanks, Amila! Indeed that's what I find amazing as well in the blue skies. I try to always take photos during travel, just to take it all in and get in the moment, as we all would when we write a postcard :)

Yes, indeed, those were just random shots of the foggy hill and glad they turned out ok! Thanks much for the visit!

Oh yes, it sure was! It's the temperature getting colder and colder as we kept going on that made me excited!
