From one of my favorite war movies based on a true story "Hacksaw Ridge" where a lot of soldiers were not able to make it home to their family, and in our own way we will remember those ones who fell.

A day for remembrance. I saw Rambo so many years ago. My next door neighbors' two sons fought in Vietnam, as did a supervisor at a job I had years ago. They came back. Today we remember those who didn't come back.
That movie is impressive but always good to remember our fallen heroes.

It is good to remember and honor. And sad. So unnecessary, those wars...
